Made by small artisan dairy in Westcombe, East Somerset making traditional multi award winning cheeses using beautiful unpasteurised milk from their own cows.
Made originally by the well know Chris Duckett on their family farm since 1920s who has since passed away & the dairy continue to produce with his fantastic recipe.
It has a lovely fresh taste with a clean lactic tang, followed by bright flavours of fresh grass, raw mushroom & citrus. Firm, but soft & springy, it has a lightness & delicacy that is the perfect foil to the richness of cheddar.

Fantastic Flavour. you really taste the rich lactic essence in the center and then bursts of mushroomy and earthy flavouring towards the rind. would certainly purchase again
