Wild Asparagus (200g)

Wild Asparagus are the thin elegant green stems of a hyacinth like plant. The head of the wild asparagus resembles an ear of wheat.

Just needs to be blanched quickly in water or steamed, then serve with seasoned butter or flavoured oils. Can be added at last minute to stir fries or used raw in salads. Accompany wild mushrooms, fish, chicken, serve hot or cold. Has a tasty nutty aroma.

Only a very short season about four weeks so why not try something different before their gone.
